"It Was All Started By A Mouse"

My boy is seriously the cutest. When he was just an itty bitty baby, Mickey Mouse and that Hot Dog Theme song soothed him from any sort of tantrum. It was incredible, really and a no-brainer that my baby would be Mickey Mouse for his 1st Halloween.

When Logan was just shy of a year old, we celebrated our birthdays having breakfast with Mickey Mouse and the other Clubhouse characters. He cried if any got close to him, even Mickey. Yet, he hardly shed any tears (yes, he did cry somewhat), when Minnie Mouse approached him. It was no surprise that on our final day in Disney, when I picked out a Pluto dog for him to take home, he forcefully threw it onto the floor in protest and pointed with the determination of an Olympic gold medalist at Minnie Mouse. Pluto was quickly shelved and Minnie Mouse became a member of our little family.

By Logan's second birthday, Minnie and Mickey Mouse were still very much appreciated by Logan. However, his new love obsession shifted to Toy Story, in particular Buzz, Woody, and eventually Rex.

About a month ago I told Logan we were going back to Disneyworld. He asked me, "Wiff Buzz and Weewee (Woddy)? Pyane (plane)?" He wants to take his Buzz and Woody 21 inch tall cuddle buddies on a plane. Absolutely not. However, I did map out every place that is Toy Story themed. We will be venturing to Pizza Planet, Downtown Disney, the Buzz Lightyear ride and visiting the characters.

So now brings us to the final week before Logan gets to meet his favorite movie characters. Logan is pointing out every plane in the sky and I am probably more excited than he is, to bring him back to Disney. Now, when I ask him who he wants to see in Disney World, his face lights up and he tells me matter-of-factly, "Uh, Donald Duck." I should have known.
